Apologies if posted elsewhere but this is an interesting article about Kulusevski. And I will also take this opportunity to apologise for some of the criticism I've aimed at him recently, particularly unjustifiably last weekend. Although I still maintain that he makes Coco look two-footed! https://www.theplayerstribune.com/p...3W0WaOB0bgGwP1n1CC_DCcAGGNFT1QFrATrQ4AaxB-o78
He's actually got a decent right foot on him. His cross to Son for our third on Sunday was with his weaker foot. If anything, he doesn't use it enough and is therefore quite easy to defend against.
It's just a pet hate of mine - for years! - footballers who are earning millions and at the highest level, but can barely function on the 'wrong' foot. I always had a soft spot for John Pratt. Limited though he was in many ways, he worked his socks off over a few years to become as good with his left as his right. If he could do it....
Totally agree. And Harry Kane is living proof that an elite athlete can train themselves into being two footed. Son is the same. What do they have in common? Both are legendary for staying behind after official training, working for hours just on their weaker foot.
Ohhh yes 100% agree with this and is undoubtedly my biggest peeve about modern footballers! Why would you limit yourself by only using one of the tools of your trade and ignoring the other? Kulu can be quite frustrating at times in that regard .... My son is a natural left footer and when he was young I spent ages just getting him to play with his right. Worked though, turned out quite decent as a centre half and could out turn either way...
On second thought, we should probably delay any announcement about a hearing until we see how the season pans out. If he wins his next appeal (it was wafer thin last year, we had to conscript Spurs fans from this board to vote) and they win the league, he'll be more insufferable than he was at the peak of the War of the Spurs Juggernaut with HIAG.
No democracy here. One poster can disrupt an entire forum and we have seen that on this board. Look at the Arsenal & Chelsea boards they used to be as busy as ours. It took a few years for the posters on here to create this board and they have to be respected first.
The best possible outcome would be to hold the vote, Pinkie wins the vote, but we uphold the ban anyway. His pot of urine shall overfloweth.
Talking of bans, I need one from Cheltenham. £350 down from yesterday, not a single winner between myself or any of my mates (probably about £2000 lost combined)… painful. Still got 2 hours til I get home too
I'm sure everyone realises that I am tongue in cheek when I say no democracy here. Should anyone want changes then they can express their view and try to gain support for it. Personally I think our forum works well and the number of posters compared to some boards testifies to that. We also have superb posters from other boards coming on and some are regulars.
