Sad to see Torquay United going into administration. For most of my life they were bouncing around in the old divisions 3 & 4 (1 & 2 in today's money) so I hope someone can step in to save them. Can't help feeling they're another victim of the money people sucking the life out of the game. I'm sure the owners of Man City and the like, don't even know that Torquay has a team. If Bury who are on the doorstep of the super rich Manchester clubs didn't get any help, what chance Torquay who are hundreds of miles away from a rich club. It's all wrong and needs to change but while the fat cats get fatter, there's not much chance. End of rant. C'mon you Gulls.
I’ve just been checking the fixtures for March 23rd and the league one game between Leyton Orient and Exeter has been cancelled due to international call ups. Now which players from these teams are internationals and which country do they represent? I don’t know the answer by the way.
https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2023/august/ilmari-niskanen/ Here's one for you Irish.... Could even line up against Wales at the CCS
I don't know the answer either but I was interested to see Orient have three Welsh Youth internationals in their squad. Tom James from Cardiff, Brandon Cooper from Bridgend and Ed Turns from um, England.
We’re good at scoring from corners but maybe we should try this sneaky pass from the original taker to the goal scorer https://youtube.com/shorts/jc5CwMgPZjg?si=-RSVzonFfUuMWVoi
Before their game with City women, the Plymouth Women seem to be interested in something in there. That bloke at the back with his head up looks a bit smug to me............ please log in to view this image
Doesn't the ball have to move by its circumference before being played by a other player? Officials error? Where's VAR when you need it?
The ball is in play when it is kicked and clearly moves; it does not need to leave the corner area https://www.thefa.com/football-rule.../laws/football-11-11/law-17---the-corner-kick
