A very simple question. Given Cit'y rise to pre-eminence in the PL, who do you now dislike more. Liverpool or City? Thank you.
For the banter with the fans. I've got loads of Liverpool supporting mates who I generally get on well with but some are just so deduled and come out with such ****e it frustrates me more than anything. I don't hate Liverpool just dislike them more than any other club (although Leeds may run you close ) Also, whilst it may not have been said on here often, I've heard the 'next year will be our year' plenty of times Why do you hate United ?
They do have fans. They just seem to have a lot more these days. I wonder why? I expect us to do you a favour on Sunday.
Liverpool. I still have something of a soft spot for City. Partly due to the fact that the rivalry with Liverpool has lasted so much longer, but also thanks to having plenty of City supporting mates at school and seeing how loyal they were when they were relegated and the club went to hell. Imo if any club and set of fans deserves a break after the last two decades it's City. Also, the majority of City fans I know in real life still seem to have their feet firmly on the ground and are just enjoying the success, rather than trying to use it to score points or claiming that they somehow deserve it. I'm not saying Liverpool fans do any of those things, and obviously there are some City fans who are trying to milk every second right now, but even with City top of the table I still think there's a fiercer overall rivalry with Liverpool.
That's what the united fans that I know say. There are some citeh fans really milking it at the moment. They used to identify with us somewhat because of our 'relationship' with you, but with some of them, not anymore. Sad really.
Same as the last time this thread came up, Liverpool. I'd quote what I said if I could be arsed to find it. Am starting to find City irritating though, I won't lie.
I hate City more, as a mancunian the hate is much stronger for city as liverpools hate is only to do with success
For me it's Leeds. I respect Liverpool's history, and I find it hard to hate City because they're from my home city. I've always found Leeds to be more ****ish than either Liverpool or City.
