Must admit I’ve been a bit meh. About Still mainly probably because of his age and experience. However watched a good bit of the PSG Reims game and was extremely impressed both going forward and when they had to defend. They have some v good players mind. But then again when our squad is fit so do weStill OUT

Dead Still?He's dead to me
This all day longFFS the downward spiral started with TM, who’s news conferences and post match interviews were becoming embarrassing.
The mistake was the appointment of MB - and KS was warned, but still went ahead.

Might be worth kicking the search up a notch or two.
Seasons fizzling out, less and less to play for for more and more teams, we might get a head start.
Will that cost money?
Probably, but if it's less than the difference between finishing 8-12th and finishing in the bottom six it might be worth it.
Might get a deal if we're taking a head coach off someone's wage bill for three extra months as well.
We dont like spending money, thats why all of our new coaches are unemployed, I realise that still costs money, but not as much to get someone out of current employment

There's going to be some humble pie eaten when the SAFC accounts come out and the financial regulations start to bite.
It's very easy to keep throwing in cheap jibes about us not spending without any facts.
Of course the club have made mistakes but so do all clubs.
I suppose people are just getting their attacks in while they can and will quietly move on to the next moan when the time comes.
I've never known such a divisive time and those on the attack see themselves as blameless in that ...
... much easier to lay all the blame on the club, the whole club and nothing but the club.
Bizarre when supporters act with utter contempt towards the club at every opportunity. Doesn't seem much like support at all.
Managers' (Head Coaches') jobs are hard to get and hard to keep, at any decent level of football. People won't give up their jobs easily and anyone who you'd want to bring from another club will be doing well where they are. So, in order to get in a manager who's currently employed, it would either;
1. Cost you a massive amount of money in wages (not forgetting that you'd have to pay compensation if he was under contract)
2. Have to be a big step up for him. So the liklihood is that he'd be coming from League 1, at best, which many people would moan about.
Expecting a managerial appointment at this time of the season to make a significant difference in league position is unrealistic and a huge gamble. Especially with a squad full of injuries.
You can say the same for players too.Perfectly put imo.
I'd like us to consider the managers of other clubs.
Could we persuade them to leave their clubs and come here if they're doing well like at Ipswich, I doubt it.
Would that be the fault of our club, I don't think so.
It's all very well saying the club is being tight fisted but money can't always make managers and players move their families from one end of the country to another. I wouldn't go to live in Ipswich for double my current wages tbh, no offence but I just don't like the area ...
