Really weird story.
Kensington Palace released a photo earlier of Kate Middleton and her three children.
She hasn't been seen in public since having surgery in January, but this was expected.
So far, so mundane, right?

Reuters, AFP and Getty Images have all pulled the picture, as it had been manipulated.
There was a bunch of poor editing attempts that were easily noticeable.
Kensington Palace has declined to comment on their obviously true claims.
Conspiracy theorists are eating this **** up, rather understandably.

I sense this could be huge.

Meanwhile the UK has some of the worst cancer survival rates in the world for the average man and woman.

 

It could either be massive or absolutely nothing and a rushed bit of publicity.
They've made an enormous ****-up trying to quell these rumours, either way.

 

Tbh I've not really paid much attention to it so don't know.

Either way, I have nothing against her but I'm guessing she'll be alright given the means at her disposal.

 

One thing which has been mentioned which doesn't involve Photoshop or AI: Kate doesn't appear to be wearing her wedding ring in the picture

Coincidentally, that's the second-most plausible theory that's been doing the rounds since January, behind the one which involves a patio...

I like that the BBC are saying that she has cleared it up by a statement on Twitter. No chance that was somebody else, no siree. Also, what was edited?

That's the most glaring, inarguable bit, which is also really unfortunate for another reason.
It shows Middleton's left hand, which is completely free of any rings...

 

Yes, if she's editing , put a ring on there.

 

To be fair, it didn't help that this was the first photo Kensington Palace released when asked about Kate's whereabouts
