Two Brighton & Hove Albion fans have been stabbed in Rome before their side's Europa League match against Roma. The pair were set upon by a group of up to seven people and managed to run into a shop with leg wounds.
Stats from today's Scottish Cup match between Celtic and Livingston. 157 'dangerous attacks' by Celtic in 90 minutes - that's around one every 40 seconds. Talk about pressure - am surprised Livingston managed to get the ball over the halfway line, nevermind score twice themselves. If only we could manage stats like that...
Good game at Anfield. Both teams had their chances. Liverpool might have had a penalty at the ehd. I don't think many would have complained had it been given tbh.
Would have been really harsh to rule out as the Van Dijk goal that he is referring was too. The Man City is hardly pushing the defender out of the way in an agressive manner and didn't really affect the goal.
It would have been extremely harsh to rule out for offside as the scouser was suggesting - as no-one was in an offside position. The incoming cross was from a corner kick and Ake was a good four yards behind the ball...
True but this is what he was comparing it to. https://www.skysports.com/amp/footb...-liverpool-in-carabao-cup-final-was-ruled-out Anyway like you say there is no foul or offside and even Liverpool didn’t complain about it .
An absolutely pulsating Scottish Cup match between Morton and Hearts just ended with Hearts scraping home 1-0 - thanks mainly to their antique goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Pushing Hearts all the way, Morton were a credit to the Championship - I just wish we could play that well.
They must do - just won 2-1. Seven minutes of added time turned into 13 minutes - with Udinese down to ten men.
Amazingly, Forest Green managed to pull themselves out of the relegation spots by winning at Bradford tonight. When Troy took over they were stone motherless last and looked dead & buried. Colchester, who dropped into the bottom two, have played 2 games less - but they've not won a game since January.
Watched some of the Brum game to see what sort of opposition they will provide to us Saturday. They tried to do everything at speed, but couldn't string two passes together. Boro were not a lot better, I see more cultured football on a Friday night.
Steve Cotterill obviously used his experience to good effect so far. Colchester seem to have regularly been near the bottom in recent years .
Farnham FC's bubble was burst last night - after winning their first 25 matches of the season, they drew the 26th 0-0 away to second placed Knaphill. Played a man down too - after an 8th minute red card. Must be tough being a non-League player - they've had so many games postponed that they now have to play three games a week until the end of the season. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal...tier football club's,has ended after 26 games.
