The esteemed Labour MP reckons that Rule Britannia sung at The Last Night of the Proms is 'alienating'........
And she has spent £20,800 of taxpayer's money taking Arabic lessons. Hmm.
Apparently she wants to understand and communicate better with her constituents.
It's going to get interesting when Keir and the rest get elected in the Autumn.

Strangely enough, being in the UK, I thought that those coming to this country should learn English… not the other way around!! Especially at the taxpayer’s expense!!!

    Labour pandering to minorities ?
    Surely not ?!
They’re already in favour of eliminating Britishness, changing our actual history and defending the rise of radicalism which gets worse every weekend while the Police arrest a guy with a placard saying Hamas are a bunch of terrorists. I mean, wtaf??
They won’t be happy until we all become Muslim and have Sharia law or move to the Middle East
    God help us

Think it ridiculous and typical of the woke Left to learn Arabic.
Madness that the taxpayer pays the bill.
It'll be the tip of the iceberg when Flip Flop is PM.

I don’t know, or particularly like, Starmer, but I would imagine people like this individual are a thorn in his side.
Without in ANY way condoning that ridiculous waste of taxpayers money, it’s only right to remind people of the huge amount of tax that ISNT being paid by the likes of Rees-Mogg with his Cayman Island accounts - and Sunaks wife for the years that she was a ‘Non-Dom’ - all the tax they SHOULD have paid would have made up for that woman’s folly - and probably built and funded a hospital with the change left over ……

I am a long time removed from England person and in part I left because I didn't think I liked what I saw coming down the pipe but in all honesty I wasn't quite sure what it was that motivated me. After my departure I have visited my family many times and the results of my concerns became more visible wherever I went and the daily news started to show that my thoughts were pretty well spot on the mark. A certain horrible man called Enoch Powell was spouting his mouth off about the invasion that would inevitably show up on the shores and although he was spot on the mark it didn't come from his initial regions of concern, which was the Caribbean. The E.U. was a blip on the radar at that time and I must confess the mere thought of losing Britishness was a factor in my decision, and how badly has that prediction has come to pass, and every day I see more and more of what used to be a green and pleasant land disappearing from view. Essentially from what I see there are ghettos, based on heredity, that have been created in and around certain cities that have changed the landscape beyond recognition and the crime that has accompanied it is horrendous. On a trip to Wembley to see City in the Paint Trophy final Ann and I were harassed constantly when our limo stopped at various traffic lights by people who were not exactly thrilled by our presence and quite frankly we saw the bad side of immigration and the division it brings. Arriving at Heathrow is always an eye-opener when it is not too difficult to see how the population mix has changed dramatically and on the occasion when I was hassled by an immigration officer who was evidently not of long term English descent my blood boiled by his remarks to us both. Of course if I had made a case against him I'm sure I would have been accused of racism and it made me wonder why the hell I kept my British Passport for protection in foreign lands? I see the England that I loved morphing into a country that will be overtaken by racism and dissent and the English themselves will end up as the losers because those powers of everything non- British will rule the roost and take over control without a whimper from the rest. When you look at both houses of governance you may notice how the faces have changed, along with possible future mandates coming from their members, and that is where the problem lies for the years to come. Immigration is all very well and good but when the newcomers get the lions share of decisions in their favour the rot has well and truly set in and changing it has gone well beyond it's expiration date. Nothing I have said is intended to upset anyone as they are jus my personal thoughts and so I have nothing left to say except - Rule Britannia

They not only get the lions share Mike, people coming here from polar opposite cultures to us, and who we have the goodwill to give refuge to, often expect us to adhere to their beliefs and religious culture and no quarter is given

We are now seeing sectarian politics here and under Labour and the left who hate everything English or British it will probably get far worse

We already have Muslim mayors in several major cities including London, Birmingham and Bristol

Why do the Met Police stand and watch pro Palestine demonstration every weekend ? Could it be that the Mayor of London wants it that way ??

How and why did we let this happen one wonders ?

We’ve created our own additional issues with housing foreigners and raising house prices to unaffordable levels for young British people and more and more people choose to live on benefits. There’s no need to work if you game the system
We should, and we do look after those who are genuinely unable to work, but millions are choosing not to work that are able bodied

I do AshtonRed - and the BBC, the Guardian, the Express, Torygraph, El Pais, Sky News, The Irish Times, Deutsche Welle, The Gibraltar Chronicle, CNN, Le Monde and a few others - oh and the Swindon Advertiser and the Bristol Post.

I like to understand all sides of an argument before making up my mind.

I obviously don’t read them all cover to cover, but I look at their headlines and see if they match.
