Indeed Elland. Never heard of your song of the day Malvin. As we approach Cliffmas (my wife's expression, not mine), ca we have either Millenium prayer or something by other real Christmas No. 1 artists - Slade, Sweet, Mud, Wizzard etc??? Pity the yoof of today are growing up thinking the latest XFactor No. 1 is the dogs toecaps. Time was when bands/artists had to work hard to get the Xmas No. 1, rather than just have blanket coverage for 3 months on BBC & then in some cases are never heard of again!! Rant nearly over - only person who benefits each Cliffmas is Mr Cowell, who pockets another wedge. Any chance of him buying Bates out? If he did, what would happen to Leeds? Discuss (serious or not as the case maybe)

Good grief..! I actually fear for human life when I witness empty sh!+e like this. Do people actually like this stuff..? Surely the money involved could be put to better use..?

I've just had another go at the Rebecca Black video to see if I'd overreacted. If anything it was actually a good deal worse. I could only keep watching/listening for less than a minute. What empty, empty crap.

For the record, I'm not saying I like that song, just that it's fitting! Her voice isn't that bad (it would probably sound better without the autotune tbh) but the lyrics are awful, though at least she didn't write them.
