An hour gone in the Wurzel/Jacks game and so far 0-0. The jacks have had 72% possession, 7 shots, none on target - wurzels had no shots at all let alone any on target.
Watched Brom earlier - no way will we catch them. If we're to talk at all about that highly unlikely 6th spot, we need to take max points off Hull and Cov - we can do nothing about Norwich and Preston. EDIT - just looked at the remaining fixtures for Hull and Cov. They both have to play Leeds and Ipswich as well as each other.
Just read the WoL report including that. The natives down west aren't happy. An ideal time to get our own double this weekend. However, as we know, they are most likely to spring a surprise when they look down and out. It will be important to keep them in their box for the first 20 minutes or so (Jacks in a box?) and let their fans start moaning at them. Coincidentally the Wurzel fans are having similar gripes on their page - just without the fan forum.
We win a few games on the bounce, score a few goals, keep a couple clean sheets and Ugbo fires a few blanks. It's all gone quiet in some corners. Lose to the Jaks (pun intended) and it'll all change.
