The SoT stats were 1-5. So a 0-4 scoreline shows that Spurs were very clinical today. Odd game - it promised to be end to end with plenty of chances and goals (on paper at least given the teams’ recent form and style of play), but it never materialised. Spurs should finish above Villa and claim 4th place.
1. And the attempts on goal = 9. Which means Spurs were very accurate today. 2. Four goals is "plenty" .
Credit to Kavanagh for not bottling the red card. Had a solid game I think, apart from booking Sarr for slipping. Most refs would've given a yellow at most. In fact, Michael Oliver would've waved play on, Craig Pawson would've given a free kick to Villa, and Paul Tierney would've booked Udogie.
They have the same maximum. Both can get to 54 points. Seeing as one or both will drop points, Spurs are safe.
He did it chasing a player in an offside situation but was not immediately flagged , I hate this rule
One day it will lead to serious injury. Absolutely ridiculous rule and to make matters worse, every linesman applies it differently.
This is totally illogical. If the Linesman isn't sure he should NOT be flagging people offside irrespective of VAR. So what you are actually asking for is for good goals to be disallowed.
