Louis Carey and Jamie McAllister may be recalled after missing the trip to the New Den with injury. Saints: David Connolly is expected to miss his 2nd consecutive game with injury, and Lee Barnard will come in to replace him in the 16-man squad. Morgan Schneiderlin may be rotated into the starting 11 ahead of captain Dean Hammond or Jack Cork, as Nigel Adkins' rotation system in central midfield continue. Otherwise unchanged. Last Result: Bristol City: 2-1 WIN Vs Millwall (Away) Saints: 3-0 WIN Vs Brighton (Home) Predicted Saints Team: ------------------------------------Davis------------------------------------------ ---Richardson---------------Fonte-----------Hooiveld------------------------Fox--- ---Chaplow---------------Schneiderlin-------Cork-------------------------Lallana--- ----------------------------Guly-----------Lambert-------------------------------- Subs: Bialkowski, Martin, De Ridder, Hammond, Barnard. Prediction: 1-0 Saints. Hard to see what the outcome of this game will be with both sides in good form, but I think we'll just about do enough to scrape a win. Building from the back and possession is the key. Lallana the goalscorer. please log in to view this image YELLOWS!
Would expect Saints win, but City's form has picked up since change of manager. Will go for 2.0 Saints (out of habit), but could be a draw.
Tough game this, if we score 1st I reckon we'll draw, but if they score 1st I reckon we'll win. Now, wheres my fence.
Tough call on whether to go for the win but i think we have enough quality to see them off (said in the least cocky way possible)
On the basis of... if they score first they'll make us mad..? Don't ask me to explain it, but I can see the weird logic in this prediction. I'll keep my own prediction down to two words... We'll win.
Quite right Fran! Any suggestion that our team just eat donuts, drinks beer and keep exclaiming d'oh! is clearly ridiculous!
Or, for the classically educated amongst the team, to remove any suggestion that they sit around in togas writing long, boring elegies about ancient wars instead of getting on with their training.
I got the feeling its going to be a high scoring game :/ Bristol have been playing well and scoring goals but I cant see them holding out against us! Well I'm gonna have a stab in the dark at say 4-3 to us! would one hell of a game! But I would happy if we got a draw
Let's see: Win = somersaults round room finishing with a triple Salkow. Draw = pensive sip of tea. No comparison really, but I am realistic enough to know that draws away could be good enough with our home form.
Hehe you can do one these?
I think the fact that City will be looking to come out and play football will be to our advantage. Nice open game and 3-1 to Saints.
Two in forms coming up against eachother and we're not fantastic on the road. It's a draw for me, and along with our other draws this season I'll say 1-1
I got a feeling that a draw could be on the cards due to the renewed Bristol confidence. However, if Bristol are too open, as someone else pointed out, it could work in our favour.
