they can because they all played each other in their last 10 as well. as has been pointed out when I did my quick maths I stupidly did 0 points for us over the next 10 which isn’t true . But still. We need to get a win.
No chance we will be relegated, yes we are on a bad run but that doesn't mean we are going to lose every game for the rest of the season
Every one of the bottom 5 lost their game this weekend. Four of them failed to score except Huddersfield who were battered at home. QPR play Birmingham this month so someone's dropping points. We're having a tough time but we're not going to be relegated ... ... I've no idea why some people seem so desperate for us to drop down the table tbh.
This thread is so sad, reminds me of Blain's quote from Predator... Bunch of slack-jawed ***gots around here. This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me.
3 points out the next 9 games is all we need. Let’s not get too worked up just yet. Good win vs QPR and pick up another point or two then we can complain how boring the last few games are with nothing to play for.
how do you get from a supporter being worried we are being dragged down into a relegation fight to thinking they WANT it?
I havent seen anyone desperate to drop down the table? Folk calling out what is a possibility, however slight, and looking at what we need is fair enough.
Well obviously no one has posted 'I'm desperate for us to fall down the table' ... ... in the same way no one has said 'they want KLD to spend big in the summer and to hell with the regulations'. My guess is that both have some truth in them. It's clear that some are posting, over and over, about relegation ... if it's not a wish it's becoming a bloody obsession
Last few seasons the points needed to survive (based on getting one more point than 22nd place) have been: 45 38 44 49 41 42 51 41 42 Given that you already have 47 points you've already got enough to stay up 80% of those seasons even if you somehow manage to lose the last 15 games of the season. The teams at the bottom are shaping up to get around 46/47 points at the end of the season, I don't see how this is even a conversation - you're simply not getting relegated. Form is a huge issue and many of the kids will be learning as the season has gone from a hopeful one to a stuttering one but there's enough there to think they can go again next season with the right manager but you want a point a game from the last 9 (or more) just to get some impetus into the summer.
Mate, I do feel your taking this to extreme and seeing what isn't there. No-one on here or otr has even mentioned spending big, but people have posted genuine concerns about the way things have worked out. Just the usual healthy discussions imo
