At least losing 6 has given the mags something to crow about! Facebook full of them going on about it.

That's the epitome of straw clutching isn't it ...

... six in a row absolutely ruined their lives <laugh>

I don't expect us to lose 6 on the spin. Ever. Especially in this league.

To be fair mate that includes us that see no wrong as well, there clearly is something going wrong and it’s on the owner now. We shouldn’t be going into this part of the season without a permanent manager/headcoach. It’s totally baffling even for me to get my head round.

and no doubt believing that this is bigger than a record 6 against your (ex) local rival

Yeah, of course there's something wrong. It's not been a good season, we haven't adequately filled the gaps in the squad, some of the signings haven't been great, and having an interim Head Coach just leaves us in limbo.

But some people have been desperate to turn everything into a crisis from the moment Tony Mowbray left, if not before. The constant conspiracies just whip people up in to hating various members of staff at the club and that is only going to lead feelings of dissatisfaction greater than they would be if people just accepted it was a **** season (rather than the end of the world). The club need to put a few things right by the time pre-season starts. That's it.

I thought the Stewart money helped purchase Rusyn, Hemir, Mayender etc. Along with some funds to the AoL.

Yeah. Shouldn't even lose 6 on the bounce in the top league never mind this. Yeah can't expect us to beat Leicester and Southampton, can't even be too upset with getting beat off two teams bang in form who have players ready for the Premier league!

What about the 4 before though? Shouldn't be losing to Huddersfield, Birmingham, Swansea and Norwich one after the other. Should be capable of getting at least one win or even a draw amongst them 4! 6 losses is horrendous and what's worrying is the goals we are conceding now!

We are conceding goals of a team heading for relegation! We might have enough points on the board to be safe, we will probably scrape a few points somewhere to make it but the state of some of the goals conceded is a team that is done for! Can't even do the basics!

I can see plenty wrong mate, I'm sure we all can.

What I struggle with is when people repeat the same stuff time after time without any proof or real justification.

When people simultaneously accuse the owner of only being in it for the money and avoiding the PL you know there's not much thought behind it.

People seem to have taken against the owner and everything is made to fit that antipathy.

I'm sure the Birmingham owners believed Rooney was the man to take them forward. He's convinced he has what it takes to manage Man Utd and perhaps he's right, but it was a disaster at Birmingham. They're in a real crisis ... playing badly, caretaker manager, one point off relegation and a massive six-pointer away to third bottom Huddersfield.

Sometimes owners get it wrong for the best intentioned reasons, I just don't believe it's deliberate as some seem to be convinced.

I'm fairly confident we wouldn't have lost all 6 Clarke,Roberts, Cirkin, Evans, Alese,Ballard and O'Nien been available for every game.

Not that football works like that of course but as much "blame" should be put on our bad luck with injuries as our poor recruitment

To be fair some of the staff don't help themselves with comments and articles they have released this season and to an extent last season.

I am dubious of Speakman, not down to online rumours but because of some of his comments to the press, as I said this morning I have to hope things will be addressed in the summer, but I have doubts

Aye, my main issue is the manager problem (now) and lack of ready to go striker. Experience wise I think we have it but we’ve been ruined by injuries and that’s purely down to bad luck.

Look at the back 4 we finished the game with yesterday (and likely to start with on Saturday). It's minging and not good enough for this level. Partly down to poor recruitment and partly rotten luck with injuries

Leicester had lost the last 3 league games before they played us and scrapped a draw against Hull yesterday. Southampton had lost 2 out of the last 3 league games and struggled to beat 10 man Birmingham in the other game.

They were far from being ‘bang in form’ when we played them.

Or aye, but as I’m generally positive and quite vocal about it I thought I’d throw it in that I have concerns. I’m with you/Norton on what seems to be pessimism before it’s actually gone wrong.

His signing was lauded by some of the lads that take an interest in leagues from abroad. Perhaps he’ll come good but he’s another that needs time.
