Yep, Seelt playing in one game does well what happens? dropped, then next time gets played out of position, then dropped, these lads have no idea when/if they are picked where the hell they are supposed to be playing. That is down to the coaching staff, not the players, I dont think we have a set formation or plan for anything, other than start ****e in the first half

What happens if we don't reinvest it, and it goes on infrastructure again, same as stewarts money,

People will lose faith. If this trend of results continues, people will stop going.

His debut was very good, but then gone backwards. Maybe testament to “where we are” right now. Not many shining lights

I think Speakman has used up all the credit I had for him. Unless he delivers on players and a manager this summer he's history.

I still can not believe we shipped out decent experience experience and big dressing room favourites for players that we have in place. Pembele, Seelt, Triantis, Mayenda etc. It's no the wonder we have went backwards. Absolutely zero impact from the replacements.

We're now progressing to criticism based on future events that may not happen.

We haven't even sold Ballard, Neil and Clarke but the club are being criticised for pocketing the money or wasting it all on running costs.

The Stewart money didn't all go on the infrastructure but it's easy to say it has ... no proof needed.

The money doesn't look as if it's been well spent but writing off all of our signings as 'shyte' is a bit premature imo.

We have a caretaker manager who has no option but to fill in, he can hardly refuse to.

And people are saying the club are doing nothing to find a replacement ... again, no proof and impossible to believe.

The season hasn't been good, mistakes have been made but I don't see a crisis ...

    ... perhaps I'm hopelessly myopic.

The morning after and I made the sensible decision (for me) to stop reading and contributing to forums early evening and watch a film instead.

Having had a sleep and a bit of a ponder on things over my morning coffee, my thoughts are a bit more calm and I have reminded myself that this is a far longer term plan and to try not to get carried away if the short term isn't going well.

I'm hopeful that the club are reviewing all things to do with the playing side and staff, this summer we need at least 2 ready to go players that will come in and improve the starting 11 and a coaching team in place to bring out the best of the talent we have.

It's probably not going to be pretty till the end of the season, but we aren't going down and we aren't going up, doesn't make defeats easier to take, but let's see what the summer brings

When was the last time we lost 6 on the spin? Seems like a crisis compared to previous history of results.

If you see it as a crisis there's nothing I can say.

I've seen quite a few Sunderland crises and, based on that history, have to say this looks nothing like a crisis to me.

That's to to perspective of course. I am not sure when we last lost 6 games. We are in free fall. From the position we were in and December to now, it's not a good luck. .

Of course, we are not bottom 3 and people may see that as crisis levels.

Can anyone tell me in all honesty that Dodds plays Burstow of his own freewill.

This is getting silly now. Burstow hasn't been very good for us but all of these conspiracy theories about who picks the team are only serving to whip up hysteria, which won't help anything or anyone. We need to all start being a little bit more realistic.

Did you actually expect us to win this one? Any points from yesterday or against Leicester would have been bonuses as far as I’m concerned. 6 on the bounce is sore but touch of realism needed for these last two. QPR is now a big game for us.
