I don't know if Halfords still do it, but they use to fit parts on the spot to. So say you've got a bulb gone, save fooking about and probably breaking something yourself, you pop along to the store, tell them what you want, and for a small charge (use to be a fiver) they fit it for you. Don't know if they still do it, that was a few years back.
