Once again none of our forwards could put the ball in the net. I think that we have all known that the recruitment last summer and in January failed to unearth a regular scorer.
I don't often bother with the comments in the WO, but reading some of them tonight makes me wonder what some of these people are like to live with. I see that Warnock is free again after his inspiring spell north of the border, so he could be the answer to their desire for a change. If they don't fancy him, then Troy has not been snapped up after he led FGR briefly, getting his players in revolt while achieving nothing. We created chances that a decent striker would have put away, but in common with many other teams, we have not found one.
