I'm not sure about the referee but their players were constantly putting pressure on him and surrounding him asking for decisions We don't do that , maybe we need to
Even after all my practising I forgot the words half way through, might have to take a song sheet with me to the next game, Great atmosphere today though and I think that’s down to me and my Pep talk on here.
Spoke to Lewie as I was leaving the ground and asked him if he was alright, he said "yeah it was just my back." I said " you take more knocks than your brother", he laughed at that.
Me saying we’ve dropped 6 points from winning positions in our last three home games isn’t criticism. It’s just a fact. If you think that’s negative, that’s a you problem.
And therein lies the problem Ric... if we had played against Birmingham with the intensity of today, we'd be 2 points better off. Multiply that by **** shows against Massive and QPR (to name just 2) and we'd be 6 points better off... Its very much a case of which Hull City turn up...
Ref was just over officious, gave every little non free kick that either team bought, made players who went off for treatment wait about 5 mins to come back on.....can see why both sets of fans were unhappy, but consistent for both teams
I can’t believe the negativity on here, if you didn’t enjoy that game then you need to stop watching football, it’s not for you.
That’s how I saw it, consistently poor for both teams. When he didn’t give Mika a second yellow for blocking the free kick he then bottled booking the Leicester player for dissent, both sets of fans come away from that incident wondering how the opposition player didn’t get booked!
Came away mid week frustrated, came away today thinking what a great effort and that’s how it’s got to be where ever we play for the rest of the season, unfortunately it will be without Greaves for the next two. We have shown against two top sides in Leicester and Southampton how well we can play but equally so frustrating in games such as Swansea and Birmingham. The past as gone it starts again now for the run in but one thing is for sure , to finish in the top six we have to play with the intensity we had today. We are good enough but we need to be consistent enough both home and away.
Cracking game that. 2 sides going at it to win and we more than matched them. Thought they were poor in defence but absolutely excellent in attack and really good at picking the ball up in our third of the pitch. Our passing today was really good. Again struggled a little with getting shots off, but not as poor as previously. Slater was really good, Coyle excellent. Interesting to see Slater dropping back into defence to let Greaves sit in midfield a bit. Thought the lack of subs was the right call - until the last few minutes we weren’t tiring and we were clicking well. Probably best not to disrupt it. Shame there’s not a game for 3 weeks to capitalise on the performance, but a break to refocus might do us good
Didn’t see it as I’m away so no idea if it’s a fair result We’re set up this year to go up by drawing at home and winning away though so can’t be all bad
Good performance today, really enjoyed it. Jaden off it today, his performance reminded me of Malcolm Ebiowei. On a different note, him and Greaves both definitely off in the summer if we don't go up. No surprises there really.
Cracking display today from a side hoping for 6th spot.. Time to recharge the batteries in Tenerife.. Forza CITY. Allam’s GONE.
