nobody is sending a player off in a big TV game for a dive when they can contend he only made the most of contact. refs never do it. you'd need a decapitation for some refs to even book a player against lfc as well so we can't be then expecting them to suddenly not favour arsenal at home. .

Refs will continue to have to try work out what is and isn’t a pen and will get more and more wrong and players will continue to fling themself to the ground which will lead to refs not knowing what is and isn’t a pen, will get more wrong which means players will continue to dive and lead to refs not knowing what is and isn’t a pen…. You get my drift. With var, you can easily see in space of 20 seconds any clear five and say to the ref, no pen, it’s a dive. Book the player. Job done.

Was a very aggressive (mardy) challenge and fully deserved red. It was a good game in the first half but Villa went to sleep at the start of the second and Spurs were 2-0 very quickly. Game over after that
