Agreed. Just don’t understand why the decision was made so quickly to give Dodds 13 games. So much of the season to play and play offs weren’t out of sight. Basically give up on the season and hoped for the best. Getting punished for it big time.

The inexperienced youth experiment has failed. Speakman needs binning off. His last manager appointments and transfer windows have worked out terribly. Struggling to understand why we should persist with him.
Not really sure where we go from here. I put myself in the ultra positive 'happy clapper' section of the fanbase but I just feel so deflated at how this season has played out. We have a club model of signing and playing youth but we don't trust the players we sign. Rusyn, Aouchiche and others all deserve to be playing week in week out yet they are STILL just coming off the bench. Rigg got zero minutes against really poor teams yet we expect him to be a difference maker against two of the best teams in the league, that makes no sense. We punish players for playing well, we reward players for playing poorly. We have a disconnect between recruitment and coaching staff, highlighted by the unbalanced squad. Dodds is meant to bridge that gap and even he has mentioned gaps in the squad. We need a new head coach now. Not the summer. Now. I think we'll be safe but i'm getting nervous now.
How many games has Dodds been in charge for? I'm sure he lost 3 on the bounce in League 1 before Alex Neil came in. He won 2 earlier this season but I'm sure every other game he's been in temporary charge for we've lost and this is his 4th stint. Failure happened in the summer we are considerably weaker now than we were this time last season. Anyone remember Michut? We could have had him for 2.5 million he was a proper footballer and knew the defensive side of the game as well.
