The problem with boxing is how boring the fighters are with the exception of Fury and Wilder who have strong personality. More Mike Tysons and less Joshua's and Usyks please.
When Joshua is on form he's not boring. He's exciting because his fights are always him either getting slated for being battered or battering someone. Seldom is his boring. For better or for worse he's entertaining, like Wilder. Unlike Fury and Usyk who's fights are often snooze fests unless their title fights.
T. Tyson is too old now. These fights are just a circus. They make money for the fighters but what on earth are people doing paying to watch them? AJ hits Fury like that and it’s good night Vienna for Fury.
Problem is that he wasn’t fighting a top class boxer. Would he open himself up as much as that to unload the punch especially so early if he thought the other boxer would be able to defend and counter?
Yeah, I think that's been his problem recently, overthinking it and being too cautious. Hopefully his last couple of fights will remind him he's at his best when he's on the front foot and opening up with his hands more.
joshua is just a bodybuilder. He’s got slapped around so much in his career he’s no longer box office really for me.
Who next for AJ? I really would love to see him champ again. He's rarely ever boring like him or not. His vulnerability always makes him interesting. Fury and Usyk are hit or miss. Some massive fights but sometimes complete one sided shutdowns. Fury vs AJ would be the biggest fight ever since Holyfield v Tyson
AJ is boring inside and outside the ring and he's been cherry picking. Fury vs wilder trilogy was and will be the best of this era.
