These boxing fights with cross overs needs to stop it’s getting silly. That wasn’t a fight. It was a waste of everyone’s time. The Jake Paul v Mike Tyson fight is also a complete joke. It’s not boxing.
Yeah and all a bit condescending. "Come back, you were beaten by the best. There's still room for you in boxing, so just stick at it."
Fighters all have a egotistical/spiteful side. You cannot expect them to be nice men lol. Ngannou seems mostly humble because he showed spite vs Fury. Usyk is a respectable man but he has the eyes of a killer. Tyson and Ali - Self evident. Not humble at all but respectable.
You do need a degree of arrogance to give you the belief to be a champion. But as you say, respect is the most important thing. AJ blabs off about his oponents it to 'seem' like a nice guy, for the crowd, but he actually comes across as a bit of a twat when he tries to be 'nice'. He'd be better off sticking to talking about himself and his plans for next fights, etc.
I agree mate. I hope Tyson wins easily and shows Jake Paul up, to end these stupid fights. The genuine risk though is that he could get seriously hurt in the process. It's a dangerous game if you're not properly prepared.
There's something about someone defeating you in a fight and then seeking applause from the crowd for being overly nice.
That fight is a joke. The reality is it doesn’t matter how good Tyson was. He’s 58. Jake Paul is actually not that bad a boxer. But the circus that surrounds him. Pfft. Last nights fight shows how a boxer in his prime destroys someone who isn’t a boxer. The fact that Fury made hard work of his effort proves to me that he is dodging Joshua. Prime Joshua destroys Fury.
Usyk is one of the best boxers I’ve ever seen. And there is something there in his eyes that does indeed make him a very dangerous man. He’s also a fun person but there is something serious about him that makes him dangerous.
Full credit to AJ. Not seen him fight like that for a long time and never seen that result coming in the fashion it did.
Yeah he executed it beautifully. No nonsense. And didn't hold back. The biggest question mark from his defeats has been him holding back and never really getting going. Last night looked more like a champ.
