Under the current system, you can't really heavily invest in your business, because they have you by the balls. When the entire point of FFP was to promote club investment and stop owners just bank rolling a club and leaving nothing solid. Except, that was never the problem. The problem has always been skint people buying clubs with bank loans and sucking money out of clubs. The mega rich owners have NEVER been the issue, it's skint folk like the Glazers, the Pompey owner, Simon Jordan, buying clubs they can't afford.
