Personally think Swansea are a far better football side than Cardiff who we lost too last weekend.Out of the next three games this is the one i hope we can pick up a point or three. My heart tells me we can-My head tells me we cannot. LM is under pressure in his short time off being here and this is a game he cannot afford to lose. I hope he plays two upfront as this single striker option is not producing goals. I see this going 1-2 to Swansea unless he can get a tune out of the players. Putting more pressure on him. People think i am anti Manning i'm not what i will say is i do not blame him taking the job he wants to improve himself as we all do in our professions-however it was a huge gamble taking a unproven league one manager and expecting him to improve on the very experienced man he replaced. Jon Lansdown has to take full responsibility for this appointment alongside Brian Tinnion who i would imagine had input on the appointment. Let's hope for some points and move us away from the bottom three- however if we don't this weekends table could look a lot worse if those below pick up points.
If we lose this game we’re in deep doodie, we have to win. Hopefully a good performance and a good win. COYR
We find it difficult to play against sides who 'sit'. Really hope we can arrest our losing sequence, a draw won't be disastrous with the position we're in.
potentially 3 points of a relegation spot that is pretty serious in my book. with WBA and Leicester next.
This has to be a 3 pointer otherwise the boos will get louder from the stands. Supporting a team that bumbles it's way from crisis to crisis with a lot of apathy thrown in for good measure is wearing me down and quite frankly is also a waste of time. Perhaps next season I need to find something more entertaining to do with my days.
Big game this could be a defining factor which way we go-up the table or down the table -manning here or manning gone. Would love 3 points take one but see none coming our way.
I have to say based on his record with us, so would I, would I prefer us to win against Swansea, turn our form around, be successful and stay. You bet your life I would. I was exactly the same with Nige after WBA, despite what he’d achieved off the pitch. Nige turned it around, let’s hope Liam does as well.
I am feeling slightly more positive about this one. The result at Ipswich was not what we wanted but the performance for most of the game was good - we just ran out of legs at the end. Oops - now I’ve jinxed it ……
If I was the chairman Liam wouldn’t be our manager, Nige would have been given funds, and we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Again that's your opinion. we will never know........the wages spent on Danny Simpson was not a good indicator on how he would have used the funds......I still think it was a mutual decision....
DS let Nige down big time-however what about all the good Nige brought to Ashton Gate not to mention creditability.
Although we must give LM the summer and a dozen or so games next season, I, and the vast majority of City fans agree with Ashton.
