This is easy to sort out, hang on.

Players out of contract in Summer:

    Billy Sharp
    Cyrus Christie
    Greg Docherty
    Adama Traore
    Aaron Connolly
    Noah Ohio (end of loan)
    Vaughn Covil
    Fabio Carvalho (end of loan)
    Liam Delap (end of loan)
    Ryan Giles (end of loan)
    Anass Zaroury (end of loan)
    Tyler Morton (end of loan)

Of those players, we know we will probably be signing Giles permanently, we want Delap permanently and outside of Connolly who maybe will get an extra year because of the goals he has scored, the others almost certainly won't be missed in terms of quality. Traore does have an option that we might be tempted to take to provide cover and so does Christie, but how useful is Christie going to be with another year in his legs and a season of not really playing behind him? Burnley will likely be relegated and Anass will probably stay there (look forward to him banging in a worldie against us), Carvalho will probably go to a PL club on loan if we don't go up. Ditto Morton, if Liverpool don't need him as cover (new manager coming in, might not want him...)

Of course, if we sold Greaves and Philogene and raised a substantial sum, it opens up a lot of possibilities for turning a couple of those loans into permanent signings.

Dont think he wil turn out to be a.Jarod Bowen if he goes to the Premer League more like a Lewis Potter. Did anyone else take note of the commentator during the game mentioning that he has the most tackles of anyone in the divison, did I hear him right if so not just a Ribona and wordlie specialist and says he contributes a lot to the team in additon to those skills.

that pleases me no end to see Omur in there and will be a big boost to him. And also once again shows the wisdom of this board for in the main choosing Omur as their man of the match

Surely that 'is' more like a Jarrod Bowen though?

Yes, what we need is to take away our players' preferred ways of staying physically comfortable on the pitch because we as fans don't have the same preferences as them.

That'll solve a lot of problems.

Wearing gloves is obviously the reason we are not scoring enough goals

Any ideas on the injuries Rosenior has mentioned today? Guessing one is Jones as he spent a good time on Tuesday night limping about.

Toe, then an extended 'concussion' (though he wasn't knocked out), then a dead leg that seems to have dragged on (don't dead legs last a couple of days tops!).
    Still now not "fully fit"
Something seems not quite right .... again.

I don't think I've ever boo'd my team ... but .... it's ok for Rosenior to be so 'angry' yet (some) fans can't?? Some fans choose to vent their anger (read frustration) with boos. Hmmn.
And our home form has not been good, meaning it's a frustrating deja vu time after time at home.

I'm pretty sure the fans were disappointed with yet another blunt performance on home turf. If he's disappointed to hear boo's then maybe he should find a solution to our home form and the lack of creating and converting clear cut chances.....

Some will be along shortly to tell you there was no booing in the 1980s when 3000 real fans were turning up to watch crap week in week out.
(it's not true by the way)
Anyway it's the 21st century and football is in the entertainment business, people are paying good money and want something in return for that. Asking for or expecting too much? Maybe they are but that's how it is.
Not long ago man city got booed off at half time, think they were losing but came back to win in the end.

I think two things can be true.

The disappointment of the performance was understandable and the way City play generally makes it much hard to create an atmosphere more generally when it’s Jones to Greaves and back.

It’s also pretty ****ty to be booing them in the position we are in. The players on the pitch are evidently playing to the style the coach wants and it’s not on them generally that we’re playing as turgid football as we are.

Tbf entertaining or not, of you get 3pts I'm not sure the boo's happen.

But a lot of fans are definitely getting sick of the kind of performances that seem to be the norm at home these days
