Heard a bit today of the inquiry that is going on in the behaviour of the press. Some of the stories about trying to get photographs of children, fabricating a story when one doesn't exist and harassment of people were truly shocking.

If people who have little to hide feel that they cannot speak to the press without getting wrongly quoted, what must someone who does have a past that they would rather not talk about do?

Probably speak to no one, but if they take that route before long reporters will get on their case and then either get told about things, or find things, or invent them, until the person complains to the toothless IPCC, or seeks an injunction.

Good on 'em! I was actually at their previous headline making match around ten years ago - the very one mentioned in this article - in Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, which they lost 0-31. I felt so sorry for them at the time - they were all just kids (take note Norway :)), so young that most of them probably played in last night's match!

    You guessed BB. ;)

Well I wonder what the WO will come up with tomorrow as its WFC headline? Frank Smith found frozen to Stanmore pavement perhaps, or Bas is unable to check on progress at the Red Lion due to an in growing toenail.

Night all, need to get some shut eye. I am hoping for another fine day tomorrow so that I can continue my toil down the fields. I am going to sleep on the Horns result Saturday and hope that by the morning I can make up my mind. :(

A bright frosty start to the morning, so time to move the geraniums to their winter quarters.

Thanks for the coffee ak, I quite fancy a large bowl of porridge today. ;)

Damn that spicy haggis I had for breakfast

Big wave indeed - but have seen bigger off Orkney, drenching the Old Man of Hoy.

Góðan daginn til allra. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar.
More snow last night so glögg for all. The temperature is below 0C and is still night here.
