It annoys me, probably more than it should, when anyone calls us "Hull". Even though I myself go around calling every other club by just their town or city They don't have the rugby thing though
Always think of RL when they just say Hull. In Hull anyway. Don’t know if it is the same now but when I worked in Leeds if anyone said they were going to watch Leeds at the weekend you knew they were going to Headingley. If they were going to football they said United.
They were just plain old Leeds in those days. Never fathomed what Rhinos have to with Leeds. Cannot recall anyone in Hull saying they were going to watch the Sharks.
Points on the board trumps games in hand, yet again. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Anyone think LR will be poached for the upcoming positions at Norwich & WBA? Obviously posts will be available tomorrow after they both dropped points tonight.
It annoys me that newspapers do it too. However, with the BBC if you turn your phone round to landscape we magically become Hull City. The logic to it (if any) is wrecked by Aston Villa who by the same rules should be just Aston.
But after the Leicester game we don’t have a match on the weekend of March 16, so we will almost certainly be playing catch-up. If Leicester beat us, we could be a few points adrift before we play again, especially as Norwich’s next two are the woeful Rotherham and Stoke.
Norwich could be looking for a new manager soon. My brother lives down that way and tells me the majority of their fans dislike Wagner, and the way he's got them playing. Apparently he's also criticised the fans for having a go at him. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
You start with a 'but' then include an 'if', 'could' and 'almost certainly', and if they come to pass I'd swap our games in hand for teams above us points on the board. I'd ALWAYS go for points actually won than games in hand. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Something like that, but... Even if we get playoffs we won't go up, and even if we do we won't stay up and the owner will lose interest and we'll end up in league 1 sooner or later.... You know how it goes. It's the hope that kills you.
The beauty of the Championship. No victory is guaranteed over any club in this league, and that has been the case all season, was the case last night and certainly was the case in tonights fixtures. As the season enters the business end the pressure at the top and the bottom will only increase and the final Play Off place will not be decided until the whistle blows on the last fixture of the season. We are still in a decent position, even after last nights disappointment, which actually wasn't even a defeat. So as Adam Pearson was fond of saying.......Keep the faith. UTT.
Without wanting to sound negative...a win against brum would have been massive in the context of how the week has now played out. It will be dropped points against teams like that (not preston) that may come to cost us. You Ull Dare to Dream
