Middlesbrough looked awful before the red card, but they have some good technical players in midfield that are really picking us apart at the moment. Shouldn’t be conceding from these crosses though, thats nothing to do with the card
Need to Shift to a back 3 with wing backs to press them higher up the pitch and improve our numbers further forward
Great 30 min, was only going to be one winner, we looked defeated straight after the red, and just stopped playing.
Feeling a bit like Deja vu from last season, play off positions within our grasp and now the squad looks to be depleting in a weekly basis
Barnes goal was fun at least https://x.com/thenorwichhub/status/1765468494164906273?s=46&t=eNUxKZQ4GDywJtSbgmpm6A
Having had some time to reflect on this Suffolk, what exactly do you think this photo "shows". Rather than providing evidence of foul play by Howson against Sainz, it suggests to me that Sainz took Howson down when he jumped in (Howson is falling backwards) while Sainz's feet make no contact with the ball. Any immediately ensuing contact between Howson and Sainz at that point was due to Sainz, not Howson. The video clip you posted earlier shows the trajectory of the ball unaffected by Sainz's lunge. What the photo shows IMO is that it was a rash, ill-timed, foul tackle by Sainz, warranting a free kick and yellow card. What then followed is another matter.
The bright side (Monty Pythonesque) was that is better than 3 points GE, considering where QPR are in the table. Straws are being grasped here.
