Thanks to Nathan Jones we're going to stay up this season. Our squad is still poor, but Jones is getting enough of a tune out of them to mean it is not one of the four poorest in the Division. The only target left to aim for is to finish with more points than our previous worst finish to a 3rd tier season. I think that was 2010-11 when we finished with 59 points.
NJ is getting more and more out of what was described as a very poor squad - maybe we’ve just had very poor coaches. Let’s hope he’s given the funds come the summer to build his own team rather than what he adopted ( bar Small who it’s thought that NJ had some input )
He's only got one more year left on his contract, so hopefully he'll sign an extension. The prospect of him and Kanu togetherup front with Alfie just behind is mouth-watering. I'd like to have a look at Casey soon to see how he's progressing.
yeah, looks to me as if we may have a squad to build on, rather than the usual rebuild from scratch we have every year.
Hopefully we'll ship out a load of dross, and focus on permanent signings and bring in stability. I reckon Dobson will be with us
They can be paid off if all parties agree, which could easily happen now we have NJ. Definitely worth keeping Dobbo in my opinion. We have far worse players to get rid of if we want to reduce the squad size.
Not at all but I am a member of NJ’s - I definitely didn’t write new players off until they had a bit of time - especially Coventry as I was told by a West Ham chum that he was definitely a good prospect and he was sad to see him go
