definitely don’t need three wins. Two will easily be enough. I’d be more concerned if we were 17th with the same points gap. But the fact we have 13 other teams below us and only need two of them to finish below us, relaxes me a little. Even if I can’t see where the wins are coming from right now
Absolutely no chance..we win one more and the teams in bottom 3 have to win 4 games to go above us. Very unlikely.
I’ve just seen the replay and having originally thought it was a dive in real time, it’s definitely a foul like. Bollocks
If you, or anyone else wants a £100 charity bet, on Sunderland being relegated I'm in ... ... first come, first served. There's absolutely no chance of us going down.
Looked a pen to me at the time, to be fair Dan's not used to diving he probably put the ref off by overplaying what was a genuine foul.
Yeah, looking at it again it's absolutely not likely. That said, shame we are even talking about it. Going to be a season of nowt ain't it.
Watching Ipswich players still busting a gut to get forward in the 96th minute after wasting a day travelling to Norwich to watch ours half arsed strolling around the pitch doing f*ck all for 90 minutes is depressing. Attitudes are night and day.
Not for me. Watched in slow mo. Hand on the shoulder. But why Ballard just throws himself down. It's like a centre back has no confidence running at goal and is looking for the pen ........
Looks a blatant trip Ref was piss poor with control of the game at anytime! but he’ll be in the prem this weekend best league in the world with the worst officials on the planet!!
When we got promoted to the championship I was delighted at the prospect of a season of “comfortably surviving”. We never got that. It’s utterly weird now to be in a position where the season seems done in early March. that said , if we make our 5 game losing streak a 15 game one, then we absolutely could get relegated. So we need to hope we can find some goals from somewhere as right now I can’t see us scoring and I can’t see us keeping clean sheets
