Not sure but we should've scored when their keeper spooned the ball ...

... felt like a knife in the back.

Not the result we wanted but some very good performances. Clear that Aouchiche needs to be involved more and Rigg too. Plenty of other good performances too.

It's going to be a nervous wait for the teamsheet on Saturday, if we can show we can learn from today and make the necessary changes I'll be more relaxed for the rest of the season.

Also if we don't win against Southampton with Rigg and Adil then don't drop them like a hot potato stick with them.

positive 2nd half what the hell is wrong with having a go in the first half ? league two standard shots on goal cost us is this 19 on the trot again ?. Stoke lost though.

As I said pre game, there is no point in persisting with the model if we aren't going to trust the young players we sign to perform. Hopefully after that second half performance that changes.

Aouchiche performing like that isn't a surprise, he's done it every time he's been on the pitch. Even at Ipswich he got in good positions just made a stupid mistake which cost us, but which player hasn't done that this season? He came on and instantly brought us some life. Demanded the ball, took command of set pieces, pressed well, chased back and genuinely looked like our best player.

Rigg outstanding. Didn't look out of place against essentially a PL midfield and the biggest compliment I can give him is if I had to guess his age it would be closer to 26 than 16.

Going to give Jobe some praise, thought he was very good after he was moved to the deepest midfield position after Ekwah went off. Much more effective collecting the ball deep with the game ahead of him, instead of playing in tight areas as the 10.

Good to see Patterson perform well also.

We have to play with that speed and intensity from now on. We'll be fine.

One win would be enough. We'd have to lose 13 games in a row to get relegated.

More positives than I thought there would be tonight. Jobe looks better as a 6, Rigg and Adil HAVE to start games. My team for the next few games.

    Patterson
    Hume Ballard Seelt Hjedle Styles
    Neil Jobe
    Rusyn Rigg Adil

Last 5 games form guide we have 0 points - joint bottom with Rotherham.

Plymouth, Boro and Watford all have only 3 points from their last 5, and Blackburn only have 4 points

basically even if we lost the rest of our games you’d expect two teams beneath us to stay beneath us. But realistically I can’t see us making our 5 game losing streak a 15 game losing streak - that would be unheard of.

so even tho right now it’s hard to see where any points are going to come from, I can’t see us getting sucked down that far

Really? Think we may need at least 2 , maybe 3.

I don't link form and getting beat week in and week out. Likely to be 6 defeats on the spin Saturday. It's hard to stop the vortex when it gets going

Looked to me from the North stand like Ballard made too much of that at the end but would love to see a replay. 2nd half much better buy we just seem devoid of ideas in and around the box all our efforts we from range or set piece scrambles. Aouchiche did look good tho.
