    I'll clap hands,
    You'll clap hands,
    We'll all clap hands together,
    We'll be alright tomorrow night,

Yes, I'd use surging forward rather than meandering, he does cause a bit of concern in the opposition and I (think I) saw players dropping back to cover. He doesn't get knocked off the ball easily.

Id like to see us line up with Bree at RB, And Stephens at LB. Similar to what he did at West Brom,

When there are midweek games, why are we always on a Wednesday?

Feels like a small disadvantage the following weekend if opponents played Tuesday .

Is it something we as a club pick?

We get a day less between Preston and Sunderland sure, but a day more recovery before Preston. Swings and roundabouts.

So it would seem! Not sure where I got that from….. felt like it had been a pattern for a while but maybe one of those things you notice when it happens and not when it doesn’t because you’re looking out for it.

Looking back over the season there’s been more Wednesdays than Tuesdays but not sure exclusively. Often the Tuesdays precede a Friday KO so are forced but again not exclusively.

Probably one to put in the category of “not that interesting, not that accurate” - apologies all round!

We lose on a Tuesday and win on a Wednesday. Simple.

If it was just the Brum game then I'd agree with you but he has been trying to force Stephens in for a while.

Take the Milwall game, he started over Manning, which is insane. Manning is flawed defensively but that is why he should be playing against Milwall at home. He offers 10x more the Stephens down the left and it was a game where we knew we would dominate.

We don’t lose on Tuesday if Jos is playing.
Edit. Is someone reading my mind or is Stockton in a different time zone?

I see Hull managed to stop Brum scoring in the first 5 mins. Impressive!

Tomorrow is The Day of the Dude. As a Dudist, I shall watch the match on a stream whilst drinking White Russians. The only sort of Russian that's socially acceptable at the monent. It's also the end of the week for me cos I'm only working 3 days a week for a few months so I'd better stick up on vodka...

It was obvious that Millwall would send the ball into our box at every given opportunity. Like most sh*t Championship teams, if they get a set-piece in your half, that's what they do. SO, having a third CB on the pitch instead of 5"7 Manning kind of makes sense. Also, we had 13 corners in that game, so again having another player who can be an asset in the box from crosses, makes sense.

And let's be honest, Manning doesn't do a whole lot in an attacking sense, does he? Name one memorable thing he's done in the last six months. We should have had enough attacking flair with Fraser/Stuie both on that side.

(Yes, I know we conceded from the free-kick anyway, and failed to score from any corners, but I can understand the choices made)
