Quite a nice bloke apparently but I guess everyone gets a few nice words after they die regardless. I’ll be burning a £50 note in front of a tramp tonight as a tribute.
I saw this on the news this morning, and the excuse I heard for it being all men, was because the girl had already attacked the female staff. So I have two issues with this, even if the female staff had been previously attacked, why were they still not present to observe, secondly and more importantly for me, if the female staff can't hack the job, sack them and get female staff that can. Or just employ them as observers, behind male employees, rather than have paid employees running away and hiding.
Initial reaction was to think "scummy bastards" but from what I've heard today from someone investigating this, she was a serious safeguarding risk to herself, she needed the intervention but the male officers should never have been put in that position. The reason they were is bcos the prison doesn't have enough female officers and that's the problem. Wholly unacceptable still but apparently not against any code of conduct bcos of the risk to life. And it's not an unusual occurrence either.
So why not move some of the female staff out of all female prisons and let the men assist in the female prisons instead, especially with it being safeguarding vulnerable kids, sorry mate but their logic don't stack up to me. Also all female prison wardens will probably be more use to dealing with violence. The outright excuse was the female wardens had been attacked, ok, so why are they not observing?
You said they don't have enough female officers, but in women prisons they only have female officers, so it's bullshite, instead of putting the men with vulnerable kids, put them with women that will kick the shhite out of them if they try any funny stuff. For me it's about balancing the operation with personnel numbers, rather than making excuses about why they are manhandling kids. ie find a solution to the problem, that is better than the current solution.
Anyway, not my bone, so can't be arsed with it, much like male cops exploiting situations involving females.
They don't only have female officers in those female youth prisons. Hence why they had to get the male officers in. I said it was unacceptable. They don't have enough female officers, that's the problem. The solution is to have more. I don't think kickin the ****e out of her would've helped tbh. Considering the risk was she was self harming.
They do have female officers, the reason they weren't there was because they got beaten up As I said if they are using the men, instead of letting the women get beat up, use them as observers.
They need more to get beaten up then They didn't have any to observe either. Anyway I'm only going by some bod on LBC who has investigated these incidents before. I'm not doing another page of this.
Their logic was to let the fermale officers get beaten up, then send in the men on their own. It just required a bit of commonsense before it got to that stage. I guess some of these officers think all they've got to do all day is walkaround jingle a bunch of keys and drink IRN-BRU, then when things get out of hand, get the macho men together to go slap up a kid. Fooking tarts.
by the sound of it , probably because of the fact there were only 3 female inmates , they have very few female staff and they may have been busy with something else as the officers there would have to have reacted very quickly . Here in lies the case for the defence M'Lud
How difficult is it to handle three females, clearly for the cops and prison officers these days not difficult at all when they can fulfill their perverted fantasies unchecked. Although I hasten to add I haven't seen the actual size of the person in detention... please log in to view this image
