If he starts with the same 11 I am going to be pissed off. I think the groans at home will be immediately audible. Esp if Jobe starts.

    I’d go for a 1-4-1-4-1 RTB

    keep your back-line
Neil in front of the back four
Then Rusyn Styles Rigg Ba ahead of him
    Hemir up top

defo give Jobe & Ekwah a rest. I think there’s more fight in Styles & Rigg + technical /close skill with the ball. Rusyn & Ba both capable of having a go….

He won't start with the same 11 because Ballard is back :emoticon-0105-wink: I agree with dropping Jobe, but I thought Ekwah was one of our better players on Saturday.

I don’t like both of them in there together: Jobe & Pierre.
Last game we won, and well, Pierre was in the middle of the 4 next to Ba. Jobe was sub

Pierre scored and should be a good shout but he needs to step his press and aggression right up. Rightly or wrongly I think styles and Rigg bring more bite and quick feet/passing.
Given no one picks out Rusyns central runs he might as well make those runs in from out wide.

I'm just hoping the real SAFC turn up and nick it.

Unfortunately I cannot see him starting Rigg....................again.

Yes, people do want to know everything but want Speakman to shut up at the same time. If he never said anything people would moan we never hear anything from the club.

Hoping today goes quickly, always seems to drag on the run up to a night game.

No idea what the team will be apart from Ballard will be back, I wouldn't be suprised to see a formation like the Leeds game.

Personally think a point would be a great result considering our form and injuries

Going to be disappointed if I see Jobe starting tonight. The kids needs a rest and there are other options who deserve a chance.
Whatever formation/selection he chooses we need to start playing to the strengths of whichever striker starts.

    Oh!

I think Dodds also needs to think about mental fatigue as much as physical

He doesn't need a rest. He needs dropping. He hasn't been good enough. Physicals have been fine but product has been ass.

He may not need a rest due to fitness but from an attacking perspective he has been completely ineffective in the role he is playing.

pull yer head out of yer arse Mike. He may be fit, good running stats etc but what is he contributing in the match, to the team play, in real time. That interview makes Dodds sound far too ‘football /desktop manager’…. Which he probably is

Jobe needs a rest for his own good, end of story.

I agree. He is way out of form and receiving a lot of criticism. Take him out of the firing line for a few games by benching him.

Is that aimed at Jobe or Dodds himself.

Seems to fire him up as well when he gets benched so good late sub. Would be beneficial all round, he's too young for this much game time in a struggling team.

Dodds. It's one thing saying Jobe is physically fit and using data as evidence, but it's quite another saying an 18 year old kid doesn't need a rest or isn't mentally fatigued.

A spell on the bench won't hurt him and will give one or two others a chance.I think his performances have been below standard for a while. If he's not rested from the starting side,I will have to conclude the stories about the contractual obligations are correct.
