The yo-yo effect of parachute payments, shhite clubs come up, shhite clubs go back down again, and gradually the pool of shhite clubs grows as the even shhitier clubs can no longer compete with them financially.
I’d tag @FosseFilberto but Lesta were the most expensively assembled squad with the highest wage bill to ever get relegated
We are going to need to go to City and win that game if we’ve got any chance of winning the league. We also need Liverpool to slip up. odds are against us, but got to dare to dream …..
I'm hoping with the new EFL TV contract next season it well help even things out a little, whereas in reality it will probably just make the smaller clubs greedy as well, and raise false expectations with already deluded fans.
Whoever wins the Liverpool v City game will win the title, but if they both draw it opens the door for Arsenal, which then they will bottle job with easy fixtures and like you lots of excuses.
The bookies have City 10/11 Liverpool 9/4 Arsenal 3/1 Seems like the odds are against Arsenal, actually.
Calm down Ponks ... a 6-0 win away against a team playing in red and white stripes is nowt special ... others have done much, much, better...
Finally looked at the Championship table. Leicester can't possibly **** this up right? What happened, unbeatable, to 3 losses on the trot And how the **** have Ipswich, Saints and Leeds kept pace? Impressive
yeah, it's stupid metric to use, it'll probably be Forest when they go down, or some other **** team in 5 years time, football inflation being what it is. I'd say our team of 02/03 is the best side to go down; David James, Glenn Johnson, Carrick, Joe Cole, Sinclair, Defoe, Kanoute, Di Canio.
Yeah how in the **** did you get relegated with a team like that?! Thanks for Joe Cole by the way, he was awesome
Was our chance of a return to our mid-60's greatness, my friend said we'd get relegated at the start of the season, I laughed in his face. ****ing Terry Brown, made Ashley look like an oil sheik.
