So far it’s all Citeh, Manure 1 shot on target and a great goal. Has Ten Hag been taking lessons from El Cif?

    Foden equals Rashford's strike.
    Fantastic.

All 3 goals by England internationals. Southgate will be hopeful they're sharpening for June.

Not guaranteed with that mutant in charge ! Foden is different gravy. If we can't win with players like him and Bellingham and Kane and others , it will just go to show what a numpty Southgate is !

He will probably pick that dick Phillips who’s done **** all this season & still pick Henderson, hope I’m wrong as we have more exciting players than them

Problem is, Saka is on the right and Bellingham is at 10. Foden would have to start on the left imo and that's not his best position.

Or play him where he wants to play and thinks is his best position, at 10 ! Play Bellingham as an 8 and Rice as a 6 ! It isn't hard and I'm fed up with set ups that are too defensive. We have an abundance of top quality attackers, so play them all ffs ! Yes our defence is weak in comparison, especially our centre halves, so let's play to our strength for once. We've been too defensive and cautious for decades, for once just pick the best players and let them win the thing ! Alas Southgate is an overdefensive coach and I don't expect him to change now. Sadly

    Yep, I don't disagree.
It can be a bit unbalanced with one holding midfielder, one six and one ten, but I wouldn't mind the midfield three of Rice, Bellingham and Foden. It would be quite open though.

What would Warnock do? 5 upfront 5 in defence worked for us.

That betrays your innate negativity, though (Southgate is the same). Two holding midfielders in front of a back four is an unnecessarily defensive set up in my opinion. Never mind being somewhat open at the back, let the oppo worry about what we can do going forward.

It would be quite open, but I said I'd like to see it.
The problem with being open in midfield is exposing our less than competent defence, although anyone instead of Maguire would strengthen it.
