Interesting....good work ........I don't agree it's down to next weekend though. Either may gain an advantage, but both (all) will drop points elsewhere.....I mentioned yesterday the Citeh/Arsenal game on March 31st.
Teams sit back and try and contain them almost every week so they've had a lot of practice at breaking them down. If you can't take the game to them then go old school; stick two fast lads up top, tell the other eight to defend the box and boot it long at every opportunity. Most teams seem to pull all ten outfield players back, there's no out ball!
so thr man who does gladiators and wears really expensive showy watches to flaunt the cash he made in the middle east is to take a complaint to pgmol about tierney not dropping a ball where forest wanted. forest should really be run out of town over this. it's a drop ball 2mins before the goal that they had two attempts to make clearances and a ball went out for a throw. they really are showing they've cracked under pressure. Luton should be loving this and targetting their upcoming game to pule on the pressure.
The only positive outcome they can expect has already happened. Tierney won't be refereeing this weekend - although he will he on VAR for Arsenal vs Brentford
I just this minute read that Clattenburg is Forest's "referee analyst" ... what's that all about? ... and he tried to go in the referees room after the match but Tierney wouldn't let him in He's going to be "speaking to the PGMOL, with my relationships that I have with the PGMOL and the Premier League and we will discuss what happened on the field of play .... and we will look at the course of action in the future". What sort of influence does he think he has in this?
I have no idea, certainly not one so "High profile" and glittering in the trapping of wealth from running out of England to ref in the middle East. I'm sure someone analyses each referees performance at each club and has a dossier for each one that updates constantly as thry change their minds onwbaht is or isnt an issue.
The game against City is definitely massive, but there is still lots of football to play afterwards and big teams drop points to little teams. (Especially with so many games left to play). Definitely advantage to the winner, but win and we can't rest on our laurels, lose and don't give up hope. Arsenal aren't out of it either. It is one game out of 11 left and any team can drop points at any time. Odds are: That game aside: We will drop points before the season ends. Arsenal will drop points before the season ends. City will drop points before the season ends.
Who'd have thought that the one referee Klopp has had serious issues with, would end up being vilified to the greatest extent yet while refereeing one of our games ..... but not by Klopp
Well given we just played the league cup final with a manc in charge and still won I think all sorts if clowns are just waiting in the long grass for next sunday
Yup. City steam roller the run in if in place and have everyone fit. It will take an injury crisis to stop them. Lfc need 10 wins and 1 draw. No point kidding ourselves Just do our best
And almost always it is true. And you'll probably have to go back two years to find the last time Man City had a run of 10 Premier League games won in a row.
