I'm not sure how you stay sharp for the first goal. The wayward shot hits Galloway and ricocheted into the opposite corner ....that is nothing but sheer luck.... You make your own luck so we're told...but there are times when you're luck is completely out.
Well in that case you sent out a team that didn't try for the first 60 minutes so I don't think that's a strong argument. You were poor, time wasting, fouling, crowding the ref, lumping it at a 1970's style centre forward and a real real disappointment compared to the team you were last season.
Yes they where a good team last year.......but it wasn't the team that got 101pts last season.....I think it still irks them a tad.
All of that is true, except for the effort - both sides put a shift in - it was a poor game, and yet still we were better than Plymouth.
No you weren't and if you think a shot at the corner flag that actually goes in the net isn't luck then you are as deluded as the rest of your support seem to be, It wasn't even close to scoring but it seems according to you it was some sort of magnificent strike. It deflected off the defender about 90 degrees. I maintain that if you hadn't gotten the overiding stroke of football fortune then the second goal would not have happened as we were chasing the game and not concentrating on containment anymore. Up until the massive deflection you never looked close to scoring. Your players spent more time breaking up any play we might have made by fouling over and over. Not by kicking people over the touchline but by niggling little **** fouls. The Ref let your players get away with it over and over. By the simple fact of accumulation of fouls several of your players should have been booked in the firt half alone. The time spent fouling was only exceeded by the amount of time they spent surrounding the Ref and offering advice to him which again he seemed to allow. The amount of time spent getting back into play after the goals was rediculous and again he allowed you to get away with it. Not surprising though he probably knows all of them by first name now. You will call me a bitter loser no doubt. I don't care to be honest because I still think your season will fall apart and out of all of the top contenders I have seen so far this season it deserves to. And before you ask no I don't much care for your players or supporters and their attitude. You have won feck all in donkeys years but would think to hear you you have been top of the tree forever. We know we haven't but we did win league one last season which is one better than you. If you don't mind now feck off and annoy somebody else.
And in addition, having personally seen Southampton, Norwich (who we put 6 past), Coventry (away on TV, to whom we lost to a non-goal), Sunderland, Leeds, West Brom and now Ipswich from the current Top 10, Ipswich impressed me least. I don't have a axe to grind (apart from being a team that employs that thug Morsey, who's collected a career total of 144 yellow and 7 reds). On Saturday, we were well below the average standard we've achieved this season. As I said, the front three were hardly in the game. I'm denying that. But to suggest Ipswich were somehow playing within themselves is what I would call total bollocks.
Do you know what notdistant, I am a little disturbed I even bothered to answer them. Not worth it really is it.
The ref was from Ipswich.. haha Sensible i dont reply to these moorons no more im done with the weasels now. If they go up in the prem they got a shock i think they will be worse than the 3 that went up last season.. sheff utd are bad but i feel they could be worse.. we will see
