I’m still trying to find the part where you wrote off his potential when purely saying someone at the other end of the table has a lot more goals this season. Guess if you’re an argumentative twat you can find these very hidden messages anywhere.

I've merely commented on LR's own assessment of Ohio. He's preferred playing no striker or a 38 year old striker to him. And when he's played he's looked raw.

Of course games are unpredictable. You can still assess who has the harder run. Teams may do better with a harder run, as Steven said it's what we make of it.

    You're a charming fellow. :)

I'm still waiting to get clarity on what the point of the comparison was.

I’m pretty confident that if Norwich had played Preston away yesterday they would have taken a point at the most. Norwich are no better than us. Of all the teams around the 5/6 place I can’t see a stand out. Let’s hold the line and see where we are after Easter. It’s really in our hands.

Who was it of ours that was pulling back Will Kean(?) by his shirt? Could easily have been a penalty to them.

And yet the percentage of successful tackles was exactly the same for both sides, i.e. 65%. They must have suspended the laws of physics yesterday. Anybody's meat pie float up into the air?

I looked at some of the other stats (on whoscored.com), it's interesting when you see the stats broken down by player. Greaves won 15 aerial duels yesterday, next nearest (on eiher side) was 3.

He was last in, when we were supposedly not looking for a forward. I think he was probably brought with potential in mind, but hopeful he can do a bit of a job now.

We’re not far off the stage of the season were the teams around relegation zone are fighting for their lives. Give me the mid table/ on the beach teams any day.

Clearly we haven't seen enough of Ohio to write him off, he may well come good. But we also certainly haven't seen enough to think he should be playing. When he's been on the pitch he's looked raw at best.

He has a history of lying about keeping punters on his ignore list. An attention seeker will do that.

Re Omur essentially not fit enough. This from LR in the HDM. Somewhat dissappointing since when he is on the field he does not look unfit and always catches the eye.
Rosenior also explained why Abdulkadir Omur was dropped to the bench with Regan Slater coming in. "I only made one change. I brought Regan in for Abdush. I had a conversation with Abdush during the week. He has adapted really well," he said.
He's fatigued because of his level, the games he played at Trabzon - he hasn't played many games and he's come in and he's played two 60 minutes, he's trained really, really hard and probably double the intensity that he's used to in Turkey.
"We had a really good conversation. He said, gaffer, I'm feeling it. So I said no problem. Regan was already in my mind to start the game because I think here you need to assert control.

"If we'd have gone 4-4-2 and not had an extra man in midfield without the ball, they start picking up second balls, putting more balls into the box. I played with Mika, Regan and Tyler in there and they did their jobs really, really well.

To be fair, I don't think Syd is in a minority. At the game there was none of this negativity, the team were applauded off at the end. On Twitter the general consensus seems to be decent point, could've been more but it is what it is. It's this forum that is the outlier in being so relentlessly negative.

Think it's just the reality of what we are. In the autumn it was doing my head in but I've come to expect it now. It is frustrating that we don't create more because it does feel like we're a very good footballing side but clearly we aren't very good as a team in and around the box, and expecting it to suddenly improve is only going to lead to disappointment. My feeling is we'll make the playoffs but not have the firepower to win them. If that happens, the challenge next year will be to improve that top end which I think is the last step to becoming a really top side. LR massively improved our defending straight away, and then last summer he massively improved our attacking play so that we do get into way more dangerous areas now than last season. It took a bit of time to get the balance of pressing high and attacking whilst also being tight defensively but we got there. LR has shown he can take us up a level more than once. He needs to find one more to make us a really top team, whether that's through recruitment or coaching. He's earned our trust in him to do it, even if it's next season rather than this.
