Funny things pets, I ended up with Osca by default, my lady got him from stray aid, he had been very badly abused, I said no, he will tie you down. She found walking him to be hard because of her ill health, I took him to give her a break, he never went back. Now on football days he stays with her overnight, wont eat, frets all day then when I pick him up on Sunday he is all over me. She has been away on holiday 3 times this year, I wont go because I wont put him in kennels. There is nothing I would not do for him.
I've got a couple of Springers and it's like taking a pair of triathletes out for a walk, I'm going out in about 10 mins for a couple of hours and reckon if I walk about 6 or 7 miles they'll have run at least 30 miles, swum the equivlant of the English Channel and caught enough pheasants and rabbits to keep a poacher happy for a week.
Our Jack Russel is the exact same with me. As soon, as I park my car on the drive way, she's up on the windowsill barking with excitement. She, literally stalks me, everywhere in the house I go. She's there.
Not sure, they thought he was 8 when we got him and that would make him 12 now but I have a feeling he is older, 2 grumpy old men. Very slippery when on a lead for their walk
Once had an old lass cost me a mint her name was Sue...she wasn't very good.. In fact she was a ****sue.
Its the beer witching hour so I'm off to have a few pints. Have a good weekend all. EDIT: Apart from mackems. They smell.
