The trouble is we have three midfielders who are exactly the same all three are attacking midfielders all with technical skill but have no aggressive bite and between them don't seem to actually play the holding midfield role between them
JOBE gets the job to play off the striker but drops into a midfield role and does not get up to play off any striker we have on the pitch.
    That leaves the striker isolated.
The man for me is Rigg he reads the game better and has more pace.

I seem to have worded my post a little obscurely; in plainer language I was saying they have assembled a squad capable of getting us out of this division, but to the 1st division.

He's more suited to 1st team coach/background role and he's well thought of at the club. He'll step back into the shadows when Grant McCann takes over in the summer

Seems a bit lost to me there. Feel for him, I have a suspicion he has been put in a role he doeant have the skill set for. A big difference between player development and assitant head coach. Totally different role. Hope he bounces back with the team and makes me eat my words. I know at Birmingham he was really really well liked and did a brilliant job, just not in this role.

We finally sign a player capable of being a 6 (styles) and play him left wing back then right wing. Baffling

We basically had no right winger there was acres of space in front of Hume with nobody occupying it

I thought the biggest miss from the last two games was Ballard, who is a colossus for us and having him out for two games has exposed his importance. Sometimes you don't or can't play well for whatever reason but in those instances you need to be solid or at least resolute and committed at the back to try and get something from the game, Seelt is not quite at that level yet and LON is not the battering ram that Ballard is.

agree Ballard is a massive miss but not big a miss as Clarke we got nothing without him don’t even look like scoring a goal

I know we are missing players and Dodds feels like he has to make some changes, but square pegs in square holes would be a start.

    Mundle is a right winger
Rusyn is a left sided forward

    Simple

I'd like to see us set up properly against Leicester and have a right good go at them. They have looked imperious all season, now they are losing to the likes of QPR and Boro so they are there to be atacked.

    Patterson
    Hume Ballard Seelt Hjelde
    Neil Styles
    Mundle Rigg Rusyn
    Hemir
I know Hemir had litle impact today, but we put very few crosses in for him - bizarrely we only started pinging crosses in at head height when we put Rusyn on
