Yeah it has. No doubt about it. We still haven't addressed the main concerns from over a year ago and 2 windows. Not we are limbing to the end of the season, watching boring football, getting turned over. We will lose our best players in the summer. Certainly not confident that we will replace with good quality.
I know this may be seen as a negative post based on the result but I'm starting to get seriously pissed off with the way the season is going. The feel good factor from last season and the start of this has totally gone It's a massive summer for the club and for me I'm not sure that Speakman can survive. Don't get me wrong he's done brilliantly to get us this far but we're going backwards quicker than a prossies knickers being taken off at the Vermont! The only experience he has is dreaming with kids at Birmingham which has always bugged me. If we are to continue with the DOF then we need an experienced one who knows how to deal with both young and older players and yes we need some older players to bring some know how into this young team. Clarke will very rarely play again this season and had gone in my mind, Neil will probably be close behind him if the rumours are true. Replacing those 2 will be hard next season. The only good thing about today is that my drinks have already been paid for and the sun is still hot at 5pm. Enjoy the rest of your weekend haha and thanks again for your continued effort RTB. Sorry if I might have de-railed it
Folk didnt laugh at the concerns, some just perfer to see how it pans out rather than judge it straight away The beale appt for me was the biggest downfall, said to my dad that appt alone will set us back a yr or 2 - i really believe that
Theres a difference between going to Primark or thinking feck it ill spend an extra 30 quid and look the dogs bollocks tonight in decent clothes
Im not confident we will either tbh Our recruitment team has had 3 good windows, 2 shocking ones and the last 1 is too soon to tell but my confidence in them is fading fast
Yeah, we all can wait till it plays out but for me, I'm interested in authentic opinions not passive sitting in the fence. We have had a really poor season and regressed at most aspects across the club
this is another of my problems. I was previously excited to see how we build in the summer. Now I’m dreading it.
Simply share the role if indeed they play the same role, as I don't know just what role Jobe is supposed to be playing, he is far to slow to play for a full 90 minutes , same with others who sit on the bench week in week out , use our subs a bit quicker might be the answer. It was a funny old game today, as they scored the winner in our best attacking spell of the game, its the difference a striker makes.
Hope I am wrong and we fluke some wins. At the moment it's watching paint dry and just waiting for inevitable defensive cock up and defeat.
The mismanagement of the squad is a shambles. I don't necessarily buy into the thing about having a bad few windows because we aren't even playing the ones who have actually impressed when playing. The continued omission of Aouchiche is a disgrace, I will get the data later and post it but he's factually one of our best players yet we persist with players who clearly need a rest or just aren't good enough. ****ing sick of the way we are handling seriously talented players and a bottom half finish is what we deserve. May aswell just get rid of Speakman/Harvey now because we don't play the players they sign.
It's all going backwards and questions need to be asked. Hopefully the new coach is a vast improvement on the last, but the model needs looking at if it's not progressing us, let alone dragging us down.
Prichard gone no replacement Cirkin injured Clarke injured Roberts injured Ballard ban 5 first team starters and there replacements injured or not good enough We had no striker good enough anyway So let’s re group and start again next season Yeah it’s not over yet however our squad is to week now for any chance of a push
And neither are you. We’re going through a **** time and we’re rudderless but we still have a boat. Let’s hope it doesn’t sink and we go again in the Championship next season. But the signings and the sackings and the off field decisions are for a number of us disappointing to say the least, but if you’re happy I’m happy for you. Peace.
