Must have been a great game for a neutral but I think I've done myself a mischief watching that. Good point in the end.
We do need to be beating these teams. I'm a bit annoyed at Rosie to be honest, was there really any need to change a team that's done so well? Granted Slater did okay, but hardly man of the match for us and we need to work on playing teams that play like us. A good point given the performance, we can expect an even more intense version of this against Leicester.
Lost count of how many 50/50’s they came away with the ball - ball players don’t like tackle and we are small
Could easily have lost both this and the west brom game. Happy with the 2 points. Greaves, Slater and Coyle immense. Total cost - next to nowt!
Totally dominated in the 2nd half. I’ll take the point as we was so dominated physically wrong team selection the pitch was heavy and suited Preston.
Not a terrible result, Preston looked like a good team and area also on a unbeaten streak We are still in playoff spot and other teams fighting for them 2 spots are going to lose points over the next 11 games It’s going to be an exciting run in but a nail biting one!
Leicester won’t tackle us out if the game and knock is about both this lot and the baggies have done it - on this piss poor pitch it suited them - not us
Bit of an insult to say they were just big and physical they played some good stuff on that pitch We didn’t Veering into howden territory here but which manager got the most out of their team? we have far better players We need to do better
Another point, but the same old limitations/downfalls yet again ... We just don't create enough clear cut chances game after game. If that's me being "negative" then so be it
Our pitch hopefully stands up after FC play tomorrow the amount of rain again will be a big test of those new lights, I’m disappointed we never won that, seemed to lack something today.
I nearly wrote that myself but deleted it. But it does feel that way in to many games unfortunately. We just have to create and convert more. It's as simple as that
We’ll batter the Birmingham slaver tongues in the week & there’s a good chance Leicester won’t even be top when we also batter them next weekend. They’re both there for the taking.
Fair result and very exciting for a scoreless draw. We shaded first half, they dominated in second apart from that spell where we looked like we'd rattled them. Both keepers made good saves. Two well-earned clean sheets with the old guard of Greaves, Coyle and Slater the men of the match for me.
