Now that we've won our first game in 18 against Derby there's been a reversal from utter despair to euphoria. As well to remember Curbs' philosophy not to get too down after a defeat or to high after a win. I expect Dobbo to replace Camara, and Alfie to replace Ladapo, so no loanees in the starting 11. The player to watch is Marc Leonard, who is getting rave reviews from Cobblers fans. They should see a different Charlton to the one which capitulated in Apples' last game.
It’s such a shame that we let Charlie Kirk go. Kirk v Mark Lenard would have been an epic, frightening battle. A balance of terror you could say.
No easier this one than Derby if you ask me. Northampton aren't going up but they are no mugs, so I'll rely on Nathan to hopefully keep us focused and up for a fight.
Like the last 3 toughy’s I think we’ll hold our own - 3 points are possible but an away draw will be acceptable in my fluffy world I live in
Negativity alert - please don’t read on if easily offended…… Obviously Camara’s 60 minutes and Chuks’s 30 minutes on Tuesday was a bit too much for them. At least Chuks is a game changer when he comes on. I’m rating Camara as a significantly worse signing than our Chuks.
F*** me, they're not even on the bench A certain poster has had a lunchtime beer, he's in a good mood.
We’ll find out today if we have really improved or if we just rely on one player to be able to gain points.
May - top scorer + player of year Anderson scored last match so not reliant on Chuks but he’s definitely good to have on bench at least - let’s see where we are come 5pm
I’m tending to agree with some of the above posts. So I’ve just lumped on Alfie to score any time and Northampton to win at full time. 16/1 returns £400 - you know it makes sense.
