Spain have 'signed' Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal for 160m euros. Didn't know it was possible but apparently so. The money will go towards Portugal's multi-billion euro debt, which stands at around 12bn. 160m is nothing compared to what trouble they're in.. they'd be better off selling every Portuguese football of the generation and forgetting about competitive international football for a decade or so. Although I guess it's only Spain that could 'buy' them, so that'd be out of the question. EDIT: Sorry, they're in talks, it's not complete. It also says David Cameron is considering offering £200m. With all our debt.. is he mental?

That's how you catch people unawares (where's that cliche thread gone for that unnecessary s), everybody expects it on April 1st.
I use it as a day to tell people bad news. If they don't believe me then that's their problem, I did try.
