Explain when the main march in central London on Saturdays has called for, or indeed carried out, threats on people's lives or fire bombings? Out of millions who have attended we have had a handful of nutjobs who have been arrested. The police are doing their job. Those main marches on Saturday, bcos that's what I posted about, are peaceful and not breaking any laws. Your name calling is desperate btw.
I'm not in London so can't say, the same as you can't say, because neither of us have been on the march. There will always be some nutjobs, and it only takes a few to stir up hatred. So stick to being a teacher rather than a preacher bruv.
I think he’s talking about the Palestinian protestors rocking up at MP’s homes. MP’s needing escorts because of the threats they’ve received by some Palestinian supporters and even the speaker of the house going against standard policy to protect MP’s because of these recent threats made against them. That’s without mentioning the recent council meetings and everything else being sabotaged by Palestinian groups. As Brb has consistently said, if people really care about this issue, get out there and protest. It’s Israel doing the killings. Nothing the UK government can do to stop it.
Yes that's exactly what I was on about as you have stated it. They think if they intimidate they get what they want some how, not sure how, but it's what they do. Trebs will; get all rowdy now and start stomping.
The police are there mate so you and I don't have to be. They're doing their job. It's called the law. You don't break it, you aint doing anything wrong I can't believe you've been whipped up to believe this bollox by Sunak ffs.
Only because as Saf stated you've read it all wrong, I wasn't solely on about marches, but you made it fit your false defence narrative so that's all that matters, something else extremists do.
So I guess Lindsay Hoyle must have been lieing in the Commons, about his concerns around safety and speaking to the police. And that the firebombs never happened either and how about the two mps killed by nutjobs in past. Nothing to see here, no need to wear stab vests.
He should've read what I posted in the first place properly then. I don't have a problem with stopping any of that, but there's a deliberate attempt to use that to conflate and demonise the main march in London which has nothing to do with those. And it's not just Sunak, you can see from the comments from Braverman and 30p Lee they're deliberately using those incidents to smear the main march. There's plenty the government can do. They can call out Israel for their war crines like they do with Russia, stop supporting them, stop sending them funding, stop sendimg them arms and missiles which kill unarmed civilians. That's just for starters.
Nope against the main march in London and demonising them all as islamists and extremists as I said in my first post. Chuck in a bit about the right wing so it all sounds like you're trying to be balanced lol. Lip service
You do have a problem stopping it or even calling it out, that's your problem until you get challenged on it, then the story changes. Do you preach to your pupils like this, because it is rather concerning if you can't see the problem.
You misread the first post I made. You do this a lot. You come in and start accusing ppl of stuff they weren't even talking about. Then when it's pointed out that there's no problem with that, you blame them for not mentioning what was in your head not theirs The problem aint with me mate
Fwiw I listened to a podcast of David Baddiel and Baroness Warsi which has been in the news lately. It's well worth a listen
Will admit to be fair, my brain does it all the time. leaves gaps in what it reads or even what I write, it's a nightmare how many times I have to edit stuff. Hence why I never read books, because time I've got to the end of the page, I have to read it again.
Personally I can see both sides of the coin, how Jews must feel in their communities and how Palestinian supporters must feel about the carnage they see on their tvs. Both sides of that coin may also know people directly affected by it in Israel (7th Oct) and in Gaza. I don't know the answer and I don't pretend to have one. I hear people say two state, but that just annoys me, because neither side appear to want it at the top. Just take it one day at a time now. Humans as a whole just make me sad, if it's not Gaza it's Ukraine, if it's not there it's Yemen or Syria. We've never evolved enough to get rid of that destructive monkey in our dna.
