Time for a new 100 race plan for Alpine.

A reminder that FOM are happy to bar General Motors when half the existing teams are a complete joke

a lot of wind and sand blowing about.

the later you go the better.

what I see is stroll next to sainz so thst tells me there's another second to come.

Hamilton nowhere and the car is basically slammed to the floor.

the mclaren is also slammed to the floor

verstappen didnt bother with a second lap just did pit lap in case.

we are now finally up to the test time so things are brewing

I fully expect a lot to come from some cars and not from others.

I think ferrari and red bull will be close.

I doubt mclaren or Aston will keep breaking in in q3 bit we will see.

1 second over the whole field.

    and there we go

129.374 with a loss in the final corner of at least 2 10ths due to snap over steer.

    verstappen starts going.

norris in 1:29s on used tyres.

my 1:28.5 prediction in testing sounds plausible if the wind doesn't kill it.

Don't tease me Charlie. We all know how it's going to play out in the race.

Norris into Q3 on old tyres too- he could be a factor and has been good in middle sector.

all the time comes in the slow middle corners where the rubbering in is improving grip.

theirs not much left for anyone bar verstsppen in s3.

Good middle but didn't look like it was turning in.

He had a set from Q1 that only had an outlap on them, so very lightly used
