We’re led to believe the VAR ref is Rangers fan.

 

Scottish referees are incompetent.

They’re part time .They need to be full time , training and learning everyday .

I don’t think Referees are fully biased and give decisions purely based on what team they may or may not support .

A full time ref , I assume , would be attending courses etc on a weekly basis on laws , interpretation of those laws and the use of technology etc

The best way to address this is to have the refs and VAR miked up (like rugby) and let the fans hear in real-time what is being discussed .

That will make the refs sharpen their pencil .
