The one thing that's pissed me off tonight, we were on top, then around the 80th-85th minute we started passing it around the back rather than getting it forward, looked like we were settling for a draw, which was ridiculous, we could have had them with a bit more conviction.

On a different night we could have won that game; beaten that bunch of billionaire bottlers. We should be proud tonight.

Got to be proud of the lads tonight, they gave their best, pity Farke didn't, he should apologise to the travelling fans for robbing them of a result, he should have seen at half time that we could have gotten something tonight with a few changes earlier, he had no faith, he bottled it.

It was pretty obvious that Farke wasn't interested in the Cup. Absolutely no disgrace tonight with basically our B team. Oh but what could have been.
Ampadu and Archie will be fine in the PL. Matteo could be our next striker, great fInishes for his goals. Not really sure about Roberts but he was better 2nd half. Anthony put a great cross in but he runs into bodies too many times. Piroe had a stinker.
I though Rodon and Cooper were out of their league with the quality Chelsea had.
    Lots to learn

Was getting excited at 2-2 but then Firpo failed to put in any sort of challenge on Gallagher for their winner.

We need to learn how to see games out defensively. Probably deserved a bit more out of that. Had more shots than Chelski but then they scored one more than us.

A good indicator if we were to get up but we definitely would need some decent investment in players.

Firpo’s defending is a lot to be desired, how can a seasoned professional get the wrong side of that horrible cnut Gallagher to let him score?
Meslier stands tall he saves….. no he goes to his knees, what’s that all about, so pissed off as we could of finished these cockanee cnuts off, also the 5,500 travelling fans should be mentioned, they were fantastic, take a bow each and everyone.

Meslier - 6. Should have done better with the first goal but otherwise good with his feet, quick off his line.

Roberts - 6. Worked hard but looked out of his depth fairly often. Can see why he wasn't trusted at this level by Burnley.

Rodon - 6. Still on his dip of form. We'll need him to bring some of his better performances to the table if we are to go up.

Cooper - 4. Done OK with the ball but it's time we put him out to stud. Left hand side was a revolving door all night.

Firpo - 5. A real mixed bag for Junior. Some nice stuff but also some really poor decisions in defence.

Ampadu - 9. Man of the match. £8 million? He was better than their multi million pound midfielders. Looks like he is PL ready.

Gray - 8. Unsteady start but was running the show by the end. 18 in a couple of weeks by the way.

Piroe - 4. Some nice touches when coming deep but didn't have the pace or speed of thought to capitalise in attacking situations.

James - 7. A solid reintroduction to the starting line up. Should have scored early on.

Anthony - 7. Showed some lovely footwork and got a few shots away. 2 assists with the 2nd one a beauty of a cross. Good workrate.

Joseph - 9. Starting to settle down a bit and play his game. 2 really solid finishes and hopefully he has 'arrived' as a senior player for us. Looked a handful.

    Subs

Gnonto - 7. Created problems with his direct running.

Summerville - 6. Hesitated instead of shooting which is becoming a habit.

I think Joseph deserves a run in the team. He could be the best option we've got up front. Him, Jimmy, Willy and Gio would scare the **** out of defences in the Championship.
