HBIC's favourite MP has been back in the studios this morning. Gulping your way through an interview where you already know what questions will be asked of you does nothing to improve your credibility. And he's quite able to use the term 'Islamist Extremism' but there appears to be a force field surrounding 'Islamaphobia', preventing him getting anywhere near! Also accuses Labour of taking 'days and days' to remove candidacy from Azir Ali in Rochdale when it was in fact 36 hours - between Saturday night and Monday morning.
Interesting debate to be had this morning... The actual Home Secretary has said that Pro-Palestine marches should be stopped as the campaigners points are now well known and protests add nothing to the debate. This Government has waged war on public protest for the past few years, but this seems extraordinary. Anti-apartheid marches in the 70's and '80's and protests did not stop after a few months. They continued for years, until eventually the SA regime were driven out by global pressure. Thatcher was not a friend of the AA movement but even she did not ban those matches. Iraq War marches were not curtailed, despite protest (rightly) being aimed at Blair and the UK Government. There were regular matches against Fox-hunting during the Major era in the 90's and were allowed to proceed despite the pro-hunt lobby were basically an A-Z of the Tory Party. So what is different with this subject?
Stop being nasty to us blah blah blah Unfortunately if labour get in will they rescind these anti protests laws ? Very much doubt it welcome to UK 2024 or is that 1824
Feels more like 1024 - nearing the end of the Dark Ages! But it took an invasion from France 42 years later to improve things!
Pretty sure the main complaint outside his home were the neighbours putting up with him blocking off the pavement when having his second driveway installed last year, which is a bit of a bugger as the road only has one pavement...
...and on the subject of doxxing All to prove that Angela Rayner sold a house which she owned, which is somehow more illegal than the property portfolios of...well, Chris Philp for one
When challenged, the grubby drunk hid behind 'they are not in danger of anyone attacking the premises named because they don't live at either anymore'....clearly overlooking that some poor souls totally unconnected DO live there now - and the IQ of any possible assailants will likely not reach to making the distinction!
I'm not sure what's worse, a Prime Minister refusing to agree to run an honest GE campaign or the baying laughter from the Tory benches that to even ask the question is a thing of ridicule. UK Political Democracy is in palliative care.
So GB News paid £660k to Tory MPs and £1k to Labour MPs in appearance fees and salaries last year £325,000 was paid to Rees-Mogg It’s easy money expressing vile, right wing views in TV. Could you imagine the reaction if Corbyn has been similarly paid to express his opinions? It’s a gravy train for these MPs which shouldn’t be allowed whilst they are serving.
I'm assuming that Ofcom will be along any minute now... Oh, and there's another particularly pathetic little detail
Apparently, according to Sunak, mob rule has taken over the UK. I've been out of the country for a decade, but I can't help feeling someone might have mentioned it
Seriously, how is "Angela Rayner sold a house she legally owned" a days-long story with people getting doxxed as proof she owned a house which she hasn't denied legally owning prior to selling it? AM I going insane, or just the rest of the country?
