So you'd have preferred 7000 scum in the upper stand above our fans, I'm sure if the club had thought it was safe they would have done, imagine if they had and fans had been hit with coins, vapes and flares. But that apparently would have been OK if season ticket holders could buy the ticket for the seat they sit in for home games, even though it states you are not guaranteed that seat for cup games
It wasn't KLD who put the away fans there but it shouldn't be a problem, plenty of other clubs have the same arrangement ... Newcastle for one. Apart from a few random idiots it actually works quite well. If we'd put up nets, for the usual allocation, they wouldn't have covered half of an FA Cup allocation. It was the most peaceful derby I've been to.
WBA looking like they'll cop a fine for the way they mismanaged their derby. "West Bromwich Albion have been charged with misconduct by the FA following crowd disorder during their FA Cup derby defeat by Wolves. January's fourth-round tie at The Hawthorns was halted for almost 40 minutes amid trouble in the stands." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68556122
